The pub is in a great location

The rooms are overpriced and very hot in the summer. They over look the courtyard and can be noisy. Our room had no window and was so hot. Room supplied with tiny fan. Staff on reception pulled a funny face at other residents who complained about house.

Location, great food very helpful and friendly staff and hotel room was perfect!

Nice staff good atmosphere

Drinks a bit expensive, no bottled water in room, poached eggs where like boiled eggs, no yolk

The bar was comfortable and staff were welcoming. We chose to eat our evening meal here as it was bright and sunny ( the restaurant looked dark in comparison)

We had 2 rooms. A double in the main building and a single off the courtyard. The person in the single found it rather claustrophobic as there was limited window coverage. Also had a disturbed nights sleep as the hotel ice machine in the adjoining room kept making “crashing” noises all night. When we reported this next morning we were given an apology however this doesn’t seem adequate for loss of a night’s comfort and sleep?

Our room was at arch house which was quite a walk , to the main pub the globe at buttlands which is the area where we wanted to stay . No fridge in room ? Not value for money . It was all ok but a little disappointed.

Great location, our room was very clean with great facilities and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again.
