The Globe Inn

The staff were all friendly and efficient. The food at dinner and breakfast was excellent. The location is good for seeing Wells and the coast. Free on street parking.

The room had a view over a drinking terrace but it wasn’t in use so it was quiet.

We loved how friendly and easy everything was. Easy check in with clear communication, nice room, fab meal at the Globe followed by a really good breakfast. We had our dogs with us and no one batted an eyelid. Great!

Wifi was a bit dodgy but we guessed just because our room was the furthest from the main house.....but really not an issue for us!

Location

Room very small (described as small king) decoration very tatty, flooring squeaked excessively, carpets in corridors threadbare, window rattled and very drafty, no security on room window.

Service at the bar was very slow To many dogs in the the restaurant it would be nice if your not a dog owner to have a separate area to eat where no dogs are allowed

Internal access to rooms unpleasant due to smells from kitchen & cigarette smoke Mattress/ Carpet could do with replacing

Excellent staff in all departments of the hotel

Room 19 was a little dark
