Stayed with 3 friends. Good location. House was spacious. Clean and had everything we needed. Owners were excellent, great communication! We travelled to appledore, woolacombe and croyde. All easy to get to from ilfracombe. We ate at the lime kiln and the food was excellent. We also ate at a polish cafe in ilfracombe …. I can’t remember the name but the 3 cheese ciabatta and homemade coleslaw was amazing!!! Highly recommend….. I think it was called ‘j’s ‘ just up from costa on opposite side of road! We also had Sunday lunch at the beaver inn in appledore which was really great! Plus an amazing vanilla ice cream!!!! We’ve really had a great stay! The house was fabulous!

Location amazing for dog walks, coastal path, only a short walk to the beach and town. Electric charging point at the leisure centre opposite was a bonus and easy to use. Well appointed kitchen and bathroom looked newly decorated and was very clean.

More seating in the lounge would have been handy.

We really enjoyed our stay at ocean terrace. The house was spotlessly clean with everything we needed . There is no dedicated parking but there is on street parking which we always managed to get a space outside the house. Also there is a large carpark opposite if needed. Our hosts were absolutely brilliant. Communication was excellent. Overall we really loved our stay, we would highly recommend.

The house is very spacious and well equipped. Brilliant location, amazing views, and nice and cosy in the winter. So many beautiful walks on the doorstep. A 10ish min walk into town. Our son used the gym in the leisure centre across the road, and we loved the newly taken over Larkstone Cafe Bar, literally a 5 min walk from the house. We didnt eat there but the drinks were great!

Very cosy and homely. Had everything we needed. Great location, especially for walks with the dog.

For a property of this size would have liked another shower but for our short stay, and just 5 of us, we coped perfectly well.

Really nice house in good location close to the harbour. Rooms clean and comfortable. Perfect for family, we have 3 year old. Parking to front on road.

Great location for both Ilfracombe and Woolacombe bay, good size rooms with comfortable furniture and lots of practical touches (coffee machine, cookware, variety of glasses, good sized fridge etc). Hosts were great at communicating and recommended plenty of activities, and were happy to answer questions ahead of our stay. Check in/ out was simple and always found parking easy.

If you wanted to walk into town it was a little hilly (we had a pushchair), but there are plenty of public footpaths and benches to break up the journey. No fault of the property, just something to be aware of.

It was a prefect location and the house was perfect and just what we needed. We were worried with only having one bathroom that the hot water wouldn’t last but the shower was fab and hot water lasted for 7 showers!
