The Old Dairy (Chute Forest)

Beautiful location. Large spacious loft. Nice bathroom with shower. Linens were clean and tidy. Bathroom was clean and tidy. Kitchen facilities adequate to cook simple meals. Good value for the money. WiFi was good, no issues there—there is not much of a mobile signal. Nice walks surrounding property and great pub close by for a nice meal. They have live music on some Fridays.

We found that generally it could have been cleaner. There were cobwebs and spiders in the corners. There was a problem with flies. The kitchen is a common area which you may have to share with other guests and hosts. There is only a curtain separating the common hallway to the loft. TV in loft is old, no smart tv.

Somewhat shabby in places. Chair in room very stained. No tea sugar or milk provided. No bin in room. Only 2 pillows, too soft for me. Bit chilly. Cooking facilities not as advertised. Ground overgrown and wilderness like. 1 rough towel. The website shows a kitchen very different to the real one.

Had to wait a long time to get the keys on arrival. Cooking facilities extremely basic. Wasnt aware the kitchen area was also used by the owners as a utility room. Only a curtain at the foot of the stairs left us feeling insecure, especially if younger children had been with us. Mattress needs renewing in main bedroom. Decor could be brighter colours as could the bedding. Pale green not very inviting.

The Bradley's are friendly & have a lovely home with plenty of space.

Room only accommodation...although a little difficult to find...I had to set my satnav to The Hatchett Inn, PH About a half mile away.,otherwise I would have been completely lost..

Entrance to room, was via a small long grass meadow..a wider path ,could have been cut through the grass, as when wet was a little annoying.

Spacious & comfortable great shower ensuite , black out blinds & curtains 👍
