Not a lot of furniture or cutlery or a stove.

We liked hospitality of the owner. We enjoyed the park nearby, the owner will help you with the car to get to the park ( in the park there are lake and waterfall). The owner prepared for us a great breakfast with Georgian traditional cousin. The ratio money: quality is more than expected)

The local food they served was amazing but a bit pricy.

We were stunned as soon as we arrived. The surrounding nature is stunning with it's beauty and especially land of Mamyia and Madonna: big river at mountain foot, huge gardens of citruses, big bushes of hortensia flowers, different kinds of fruit trees. Before the gates there is a small source of clean water to gather fresh water and to refreshen oneself. One can have a day-trip to the Mrtirala National park with stunning views on the road of wild riverbed, trees. And finally waterfall. It takes the whole day. Or catch a bus from Khala to National park. Hospitality of Mamyia and Madonna is outstanding. We were welcomed with incredible dinner including lots of homemade cheese, wine, chacha... Breakfasts were unbelievably tasty and filling. It is really worth the cost to pay extra for breakfast and dinner! Madonna is really great communicator to handle necessary questions. Their family also has a car rental so make sure you check it out. I really recommend the separate building from the main house. It has a stunning view, incredible interior with smell of fresh wood. Staying there I had a feeling of belonging to a family that lives a countryside life of simplicity. Madonna and Mamyia made sure we could rest well. Only thing need planning is the accessibility, you can take a maršutka from Batumi to Mrtirala national park and exit from Khala to reach guest house. Plan it ahead.

The house has the most amazing view over the mountains and the family fruit garden. The hosts Mamiya and Madonna are the most welcoming. Delicious home-made food and drinks are available upon request. The unit itself is homey and well-kept.

Really friendly hosts and their children who spoke some English too. We got invited to traditional supra and raised numerous toasts with homemade wine. The apartment was comfortable and the food delicious, all homemade with local produce.
