Maadathil Cottages & Beach Resort

Fabulous time spent here - it’s two seperate properties a short walkable distance apart…a few detached cottages in one place and then a larger building with several rooms. We had a room in each place and they were exceptional…spacious, modern, clean and beautifully furnished. Amazing sea views as right on the beach its location couldn’t be more perfect. Beach so clean, no rubbish anywhere and water like a warm bath and hardly anyone around. Staff were so lovely, really helpful and lots of good advice about locality. Breakfast was really great, dinner is available but we didn’t try it as we walked to one of the local restaurants a short distance away. Thank you for such a great stay…we’ll be back!

Nothing it was perfect!

The location with a small almost private beach not far from Varkala centre, great food, nice facility and great service provided by highly friendly and helpful staff. An absolute recommendation!

This is just the most idyllic place to stay. The staff are so attentive and friendly. The rooms are large airy and spotless. The restaurant has delicious fresh food. I wish my stay had been longer. The kids were a bit miffed the pool was for frogs, but they soon discovered the beach and got over that.

Nothing, it was just the most perfect place. Be warned though the beach is only suitable for confident swimmers.

Everything - the location, the room, the food, the cleanliness - was excellent. Above all, the behaviour of the entire staff was fantastic. It appeared as if the owners, the management and the staff were all made for hospitality business.

Beautiful location, large air conditioned rooms, and delicious food in the restaurant. Very helpful responsive service.

Occasional power outages but resolved quickly and did not detract from enjoyment of the stay.
