Lassi Guest House

The staff is nice and you get the sense that they want to help but unfortunately there’re plenty of issues that go unresolved. The bedroom is nicely furnished.

I stayed for a night and barely slept at all—my room was facing the street which is the home to many streetdogs that were howling all night long, which the hotel can not do that much about, but worth keeping in mind as sound protection is basically nonexistent. Additionally, and more connected to the hotel, there were very loud cracks above my bed sporadically all throughout the night (imagine someone repeatedly jumping on a pile of dry and large twigs)—when I went to see staff they said “it’s just the concrete,” which unfortunately didn’t stop me from waking up, and in any case, sounds somewhat worrisome. The bathroom is pretty dirty and the toilet started out flushing a bit, then completely gave up its ghost. Wifi also not working. I give this low rating in part because I stayed at a different place in Udaipur for the same amount of money and it was fantastic—so even though Lassi is cheap, it’s possible to do better.

The hostel is very nicely equipped with a great sitting area and a rooftop for your breakfast. Also great location in the old town

It was one of the most beautiful guest houses we stayed at in Rajasthan, really love interiors in the room. They also kindly upgraded us, which I thought was very thoughtful. Staff was helpful and flexible.

the staff were very warm and welcoming as well as very helpful with arranging further travel. they made some snacks available, which was nice, and everything was clean and tidy.

Fab location with friendly staff

Alles war super: Ruhige Lage trotzdem zentral an Restaurants und Sehenswürdigkeiten gelegen, sehr freundlicher Besitzer Loca der uns einfach so ein Zimmer upgrade gegeben hat (Deluxe Zimmer), welches wunderschön war. Wir haben den Aufenthalt extrem genossen. Frühstück war sehr gut ebenso die Dachterrasse. Das Hotel kann ich sehr empfehlen.

We appreciated their friendliness. The staff was super accommodating to the requirements of our group. When one of us fell sick they helped to provide her drinks and food that she needed. They also helped us order and eat food onsite. The common library space is very nice as a place to chill or prepare the next day of visit with drinks, snacks and food. The rooms were especially clean and beautifully decorated.

Internet was almost not working. Would have liked it to be properly working. The electric plugs in the shower were a bit surprising.
