Very beautiful room, very friendley manager Locaa. Very helpfull because we arrived at 4.30 am and without costs we could use our room instead of incheck at 12. Quiet area and not far from the centre. We can recommend this hotel for everyone.

Loved the courteousness of the staff working there. And they offer free unlimited complementary snacks, tea, and coffee that you can have any time of the day. Great open rooftop, and nicely cooked morning breakfast meals.

The demeanor towards Indians vs foreigners is different. We saw foreigners being accommodated with their additional requests whereas we were denied those same requests (early check-in, and really rushed us out on our delayed check-out on a very cold morning).

Our stay at Lassi Guest House was absolutely wonderful. The location is perfect, right near Lake Pichola, with a beautiful rooftop view. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff and host were extremely friendly, helpful, and made us feel like family. They helped with local tips, transport, and everything we needed. The food was delicious, especially the homemade meals. The atmosphere is calm, safe, and perfect for travelers who want to relax and experience the real charm of Udaipur. Great value for money and highly recommended! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone visiting Udaipur. 😊🙏

I had an amazing stay at Lassi Guest House. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which made the experience feel warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The property and rooms were spotlessly clean, very well maintained, and peaceful. Honestly, this has been one of the best stays I’ve had in India. The breakfast deserves a special mention — delicious, fresh, and of such great quality that it easily matches what you’d expect at a 5-star hotel. It was a perfect start to each day. Excellent service, great hospitality, and outstanding value for money. I would definitely stay here again and recommend Lassi Guest House to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed at Lassi Guest House for three nights and left with very mixed feelings. On the positive side, Loca, who runs the place, is extremely helpful and kind. He personally met us at the airport, helped us with advice throughout our stay, answered all our questions, and shared useful local contacts so we could get the best possible offers. He is genuinely attentive and clearly tries his best to help his guests.

However, the main issue with this place is value for money. We paid around 400 EUR for three nights, having mistakenly understood the property on Booking as a small heritage boutique guest house. Unfortunately, this is not the case at all. At its current level, this place cannot justify a price of 130+ EUR per night. Realistically, it should cost at least two times less. At this price point, we expected: • a clean, well-maintained bathroom — instead it was not properly clean, with a very poor-quality faucet and shower, and a small boiler that does not allow two people to shower consecutively; • basic daily room cleaning — which was missing; • a decent, well-prepared breakfast — which was also far below expectations; • an overall sense of care, comfort and service — which unfortunately was not there. The property clearly has potential, but at the moment it feels like a place that is not properly looked after. This is noticeable in many details, even small ones — for example, the plants on the upper terrace, which are clearly watered very rarely. The same lack of attention can be felt throughout the property. What is missing is a real “owner’s hand” — someone who consistently maintains the space and creates a warm, cared-for atmosphere. As a simple, low-budget hostel or guest house, this place could be a good option and we would recommend it without hesitation. But as a higher-priced boutique guest house, it does not meet expectations — and for this money, there are many significantly better options available.

In a quiet area with pleasant room and good value for Udaipur; nice social area and very friendly staff.

Bathrooms are wet rooms so everything gets soaked and doesn’t really dry out… breakfast service was sporadic - one day it was fine, the next day we had to keep asking for things
