Bloomfield Farmhouse and Eco-Resort

Just wow. The property was everything we had hoped for. Location was peaceful, staff wonderful and accommodating- honestly they had a ‘fix’ for everything. Breakfast and supper were delicious and they had good coffee. The room was really nice with a thoughtful amount of storage and usable surfaces. The terrace was a wonderful bonus. The views were to die for. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

Not much to moan about- but if pushed I would point out that there is little soundproofing between the rooms so please be courteous. A squeegee for the bathroom floor would have made things a little less hazardous. The property is a bit out of town you will need to hire a motorbike for a couple of days - or avail your self of the taxis services you are offered.

I recently stayed at Bloomfield Farmhouse & Eco-Resort and it was one of the most peaceful and memorable getaways I’ve had. Nestled amid the serene tea gardens on Bloomfield Road, the place offers a perfect escape from the bustle of Darjeeling town. The views of the Kanchenjunga range are simply breathtaking, and the lush green surroundings create a truly tranquil atmosphere—ideal for nature lovers and anyone looking to disconnect for a while. Our room was spacious, clean, and incredibly cozy. The bed heater was a blessing in the chilly weather. What stood out most was the warmth and attentiveness of the hosts and staff. They made us feel like family, always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and helping with anything we needed. The food was another highlight—home-style meals made with ingredients from their own garden. Every dish was fresh, delicious, and full of local flavour. The location is a bit away from the town centre and there's a bit of a climb from the parking area, so keep that in mind if you have mobility issues. That said, I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone wanting a peaceful, nature-filled stay with stunning views and genuine hospitality.

In a short term, it was an excellent experience, the hosts are so helpful that I can not explain. One of the best resort we ever stayed. The view of Kanchenjunga was absolutely clear from the hotel balcony. The homecooked foods were always fresh & delicious.

Nothing really, except the approach road which is bit difficult for the senior citizens and the kids.
