I recently stayed at Heistel, and I can confidently say it is one of the best hostel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was incredibly welcoming, warm, and energetic. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home, always ready with local recommendations, transit tips, or just a friendly conversation. The design of the place is exceptionally well thought out. The dorm rooms are immaculate, spacious, and don’t feel crowded at all. I stayed in a 8 bed setup, and I was genuinely impressed by how quiet, organized, and clean it was kept throughout my stay. The beds are super comfortable, featuring high-quality linens, private reading lights, universal charging ports, and solid privacy curtains that give you your own personal space whenever you need it. There are also huge, secure lockers under the beds, which gave me total peace of mind regarding my luggage and laptop. The common areas are where Heistel truly shines. There’s a fantastic balance between spaces to socialize and quiet corners to get work done. The Wi-Fi is blazing fast and reliable, making it a dream spot for digital nomads or anyone needing to take a quick video call. It’s also incredibly easy to meet people here; the hostel hosts great community events that bring everyone together naturally without feeling forced. The bathrooms and showers were spotless, with excellent water pressure and constant hot water, which is a massive plus for a busy hostel. The location is also perfect—tucked away enough to offer a peaceful night's sleep, but just a stone's throw away from great cafes, local spots, and public transport. Whether you are a solo traveler looking to make lifelong friends or a professional looking for a vibrant, productive environment, Heistel is the place to be. It has that authentic, community-driven backpacker spirit where it’s incredibly easy to strike up a conversation with fellow travelers from all over the world. The lounge is beautiful, filled with natural light, comfortable seating, and a highly aesthetic design that makes you just want to hang out and relax. A huge shoutout to the management and staff—they are the heart of this place. They are professional, deeply passionate about guest satisfaction, and run the hostel like a well-oiled machine. They genuinely care about your experience and make sure everyone feels safe, included, and comfortable. Heistel isn't just a place to sleep; it’s an entire experience.
