Eagle View villa

The location of the property is fabulous overlooking the valley. It's around 10 -15 kms outside of Ella town, but you can get a tuk tuk to their place. The owner, Nadeha, and caretaker Nadu were amazing. The breakfast spread that Nadu made for us was so wonderful. They even packed breakfast for us when we checked out early to catch train to Kandy. They guided us very well during our stay.

- Internet stopped working a few times for longer periods - sometimes a little noisy in the early morning - to far from Ella to walk (we had our own car but otherwise you need to book a ride 2.000 per ride)

This is a new property that opened a few months back so there will be new additions to improve, but what I liked the most was that it was squeaky clean and tidy, and the view from the balcony overlooking the valley and the forest below was enchanting - you can hear the cries of peacocks sitting here, and we even saw one in a distant tree. Breakfast was fantastic. The fruit platter was beautifully arranged with some of the freshest produce in the country and their daal was the best one we've had in Sri Lanka!

They should have a few more options for last minute dinner requests - we arrived in the evening and requested dinner but they could only arrange tomato sandwich. Nearby places are a fair distance away, so you will need a car or tuktuk to get to Ella.

The view is amazing! The people that work there are very kind and helpful. Very delicious food! Everything was just amazing.

No extra blanket. Only thin sheets, so can get cold if you have the AC on.
