Tea Forest Lodge

Heerlijke plek, ligt prachtig (wel eindje uit het centrum, onhandig als je wil feesten)! In de ochtend werden we wakker gemaakt door een pracht van een vogel die op ons raam tikte. Personeel is super behulpzaam en heel aardig! Goed ontbijt en schone kamers. Wij hadden twee kamers als gezin en buiten tussen onze kamers in een zitje, soort woonkamer. Aanrader!

Ver uit het centrum, voor onze pubers was dat een beetje jammer, die hadden ‘s avonds graag lekker door Ella gelopen en aangesloten bij de borrelende meute

L'agencement des 2 chambres, spacieuses, bien équipées, séparées par un salon/terrasse couvert bien aménagé. La localisation permettant un accès à pied au pont aux 9 arches et à Little Adam's Peak et avec vue sur la forêt (excentrée de la ville très bruyante). La gentillesse et la disponibilité des hôtes Le petit déjeuner très copieux et excellent.

Famille très sympathique. Un accueil vraiment top! Chambre plutôt sympa et de bonne taille. Petit déjeuner au top Petite maison très jolie, salle de restaurant magnifique et vraiment pas loin du centre d’Ella et de tous les points d’intérêts

Insonorisation totalement inexistante et rideau non occultant Tuk tuk très chère de l’hôtel au centre juste pour 2km heureusement que nous avions notre chauffeur L’une des personne était trop présente sur les temps du petit déjeuner. Il restait à côté de nous pendant tous le repas c’était un peu gênant…

Extremely friendly and kind staff who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. If you are a light sleeper like one of us then some earplugs can be helpful because the lodge is in the middle of wonderful nature, and you can hear birds, dogs, crickets abf other creatures (it was a bonus for us because we love animals). There are butterflies and parakeets flying and we even saw some chipmunks and other small mammals. Little Addams peak and 9 arches bridge are a short walk from the property. The breakfast was always ample and very tasty, many local options as well as continental. One of us had some food allergies and eats primarily plant based which they accommodated kindly. We extended our stay for a day but could easily have stayed much much longer.

It was just wonderful.

Good location, quiet location but close enough to city center with a short tuktuk ride. Walking distance to the nine arch bridge and little adams peak is a great plus. Amazing staff. Siva and Ghika were very helpful making our staff comfortable. Breakfast is huge.

Delicious food - amazing (and large!) breakfasts, and lovely restaurant food. Nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of Ella town, but only a short tuk tuk away to an array of restaurants. (LKR1000 into town). Close to Little Adam's Peak and Nine Arches Bridge - we walked to both. Sivav helped us arrange a tuk tuk to a tea factory and waterfall, plus arranged a taxi to drive us to our next destination, which was helpful. Friendly and helpful staff. Helpful having a fridge and kettle in the room, plus shampoo, conditioner, towels, etc. Little shop nearby for snacks and drinks. Nice balcony in the room.

Everything happens pretty slowly - it takes 40 mins to 1 hour to order drinks and food - so best to get a food order in early. But the food is tasty when it does arrive.

Lovely place in a great location. Breakfast was amazing and you can’t beat listening and watching the birds in the morning. Staff were amazing and welcoming and no request was too much. They made us feel at home and wanted to do lots for us. Based upon other reviews we tried the evening meal and weren’t massively impressed as it was food they ordered in and then microwaved. We found it was better to eat in Ella town. But this didn’t put a damper on our stay and we still enjoyed it. We also had our family put in the smaller of the two rooms and didn’t realise until the last day. The transfers were great as well, safest we have felt on any journey and reasonably priced in comparison to others.

Nice cozy place. Bathroom was amazing. Staff were very kind. Hope to visit once again.

Bardzo miły, uczynny personel. Obiekt czysty, komfortowy, położonych w odległości spaceru do Nine Arches Bridge i pól herbacianych. Warto.
