"Memorable Melcombe Manor made us feel like part of the family,"

10.0

Huge choice for breakfast,Nothing too much trouble.Simon and Nikki ,the three dogs, two cats, cows, horses and donkeys make guests feel right at home in the historic manor and farm.Hope to be back.

Can’t think of anything.Lot of stairs to the Garden room had quite a few steps but help with luggage plus shared kitchen facilities and tv lounge was a bonus. The house adjoins a chapel and a rich history in a place mentioned in the Domesday Book.

"Lovely manor, great hosts in one of England's quieter landscapes"

10.0

Most idyllic spot and a genuine welcome from the hosts and dogs. Felt like part of family immediately. Nicki and Simon have time to make you welcome despite their busy working schedules. Wonderful walks and good pubs nearby. 1000 years of history in the buildings and land.

"A wonderful stay we will long remember."

10.0

Unique ! The chapel and history of the house were very special. Cosy rooms and nice bedding. Wonderful home cooked breakfast. The sausages and honey were highlights. Nicky was lovely ! We so enjoyed seeing the horses , donkeys , cows and calves. Beautiful scenery. Wish we had longer.

We had large suitcases which was a bit tricky going up narrow stairs but someone helped us . We Need to pack less !
