Villa Ayung

What a serene place to stay. So comfortable and felt like being at home. We stayed 2 nights and would have liked to stay longer. A grab car is around 28k to Sanur shopping mall. (We would give 50k) To come back to such a restful, beautiful place was well worth being a little out of the hustle and bustle. Julie and the staff were awesome…….so were the animals.

We loved our stay. The villa was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great and the staff were lovely. Julie and Peter were super friendly and helpful. We had our on car so the location suited us very well being quiet and away from the traffic. Would definitely return.

The villa was beautiful, very comfortable, the pool was incredible, the pets were so friendly. The whole stay had a lovely homely feel. The staff were so kind and the service was 10/10. Julie and Peter are amazing hosts, we loved staying here. It was so nice to chill poolside after a long trip of travelling. Julie was amazing with our two sons. Thank you so much again, we hope to be back next time we visit Bali 🩷 also, thank you Julie for going out of your way to pick up some traditional Balinese knick knacks for us. You don’t get this kind of service anywhere else.

Beautiful property, amazing pool, glorious breakfasts, wonderful hosts! The outdoor bathroom was surprisingly awesome. Also the abandoned amusement park down the road is definitely worth a visit, and the Margot river restaurant close by is stunning.

Our own fault - we thought the property had 2 bathrooms and the loft was way less private than we’d imagined. So felt a little exposed when getting changed upstairs. Location is not near much, but it isn’t too hard to get a car.

From the moment of our arrival we experienced hospitality more like being at home than in paid accommodation. Hosts Julie and Peter made us feel incredibly welcome, were on hand to provide advice about all things Bali, ensured we had everything we needed and were able to direct and connect us with tour and other service providers. Staff were wonderful, polite and respectful (as you come to expect in Bali) and even the pets were a delight. Pool and garden area is superb with mature trees and garden. Our room was very large and comfortable with a balcony and view of the river. The cooked breakfasts are next level again! Would highly recommend a stay in Villa Ayung if stopping over in Sanur.

Fantastic stay. Julia and Peter are amazing hosts. Everything was perfect: the location, the facilities and the conversations. Would highly recommend to everyone. Nothing I would change. You should definitely book your stay here!

Had an amazing stay. The villa is so beautiful, amazing spec throughout and even better than in the photos! The owners were amazing, so warm, accommodating and fun, full of great tips. Really comfortable, pool is gorgeous and the sunken stone bath is insane! Wish I could have stayed for longer and highly recommend it!
