We found that we were't expected. Some issue with the paperwork, I guess. What was surprising though, was that they had previously communicated with us, and confirmed, regarding arrival time! As we didn't speak German this became problematic. After a 400km motorcycle ride, one would have thought that the host might offer two hot, tired motorcyclists a drink of some sort whilst the issue was fixed, some 20 minutes later. The toiletries in the bathroom were running out, not enough toilet paper supplied and the linen on the bed was poor. The beams were a problem for myself (186cm), but that is my problem. Rather cheap fittings and fixtures. This was a conversion, and sadly felt like it had been done on the cheap.

Really great place, loads of character, very clean and really friendly hosts.

The location was right on the Mosel. We were on a bike tour and could store our bike in a secure covered room.

The breakfast could have been better. It was a bit limited.

Beautiful location, beautiful old building, very comfy bed, big room, great breakfast. Ability to sit outside under tree or umbrella.
