Weinhaus Kurtrierer Hof

A solid farmhouse with a few centuries history, the place has a lot of charm. The owners are very hospitable (all the restaurants in the village being closed - this being a Thursday at 7 o'clock in Germany ! ), they very kindly reopened the kitchen and whipped up a delicious meal of cheese, smoked ham and backed potatoes, served with a dry Riesling from their own vineyards. Very spacious room and comfortable bed. This being a wine producer, have a taste of their products. We liked the half-dry Riesling and their non- alcoholic grape juice.

Not spending more time there and tasting more local wines !

superb location, clean and Lovely staff

We had booked the basic room, which was clean, with a very nice bed. It wasn't big or fancy, but a clean room, a good bed, decent shower and a nice breakfast was exactly what we needed.

The staff is very helpful and understanding , we arrived quite late by bike and were still served a very decent meal. rooms are very tidy. charming place.
