Apartament Roma

The apartment is wonderfully central, spacious and quiet. However also smelly (above restaurants with no proper ventilation). Reading other reviews it is amazing that no improvements are made. I am surprised to see so many good reviews.

One bed makes a lot of noise ( as noted in former reviews), the kitchen is missing basic things like a saucepan, a way to make coffee etc.), most of the cupboards are broken. The flat was clean. But is not kept in order.

It is placed in the historical center and we had a 10% discount at the restaurant, that's the only thing ok.

Everything was dirty, the floor, the bath and every object in there. The trash from the previous persons was there. I think they didn't clean up the apartment, we have seen hair on the pillow and asked for another pillow linen. The Monalisa painting from upstairs was scarry, placed next to bed. We couldn't take a shower because the water came intermittently very cold and very hot.

I loved the location, it is conveniently located right in the square with tons of restaurant options at the door (like the attached Pizza Roma), a short hike to the Hollywood style Brasov sign, and stone's throw from the Black Church. The apartment was great for a small group of friends to hang out, with 3 comfy beds and a couch that folds down if you try real hard.

Maybe it's just the location, or maybe I'm just an entitled American, but the hot water was a problem. I tried to take a bath in the jacuzzi tub, and it wasn't a great experience. The hot water only comes in bursts of about 30 seconds, and then runs ice cold for about a minute.

The location is just perfect, and the overall structure of the apartment and deisign is really nice.

The fact that it was dirty, the hot water was not running properly. It was really, really cold in the flat and upstairs especially. The stairs were just too narrow, and they needed a big fixing. Also, a big, big inconvenience was the smell of the food from the restaurant downstairs. The flat needs a lot of fixing and a renovation, for sure.

The apartment is a gem! Large, clean, right at the central square of Brasov. Definitely would choose it again

At the opposite side, there is a restaurant and sometimes there is a smell from the ventilation. There is not enough privacy if more than 2 people
