Out in the middle of nowhere, very woodsy forestry vibes. You can hear the sound of nature and the air is so clean.

The shower had no hot water. Fridge in the room was the size of a shoe box.

"Old world charm and friendly service"

The house has wonderful character and the staff are fantastic. The pool was a great bonus.

The stairs are quite steep in the house, so useful to consider if you are physically impaired to book rooms on the grond level. That said the staff were very helpful with my mother.

Sound from other rooms travels easily and could be a problem but it’s understandably an old house
