Caledon Grace Guesthouse

Room number 5 is so beautiful. The breakfast was simple but delicious. The day manager Lorenzo was a fantastic host. There is so much to take in and enjoy.

The little details made it perfect. It’s was a drizzling day but the staff overloaded us with warmth. Pre-heated blankets, Aircon on, hot chocolat and marshmallows and so. Rooms are very big and spacious and house is very well maintained. Loved the breakfast as wel. We will be coming back in summer to have a dip in the pool!

The property was iconic and beautiful. The attention to detail was impeccable! Grateful to the staff for making my husbands birthday special with the champagne birthday

The fact that we were not informed that that the bed will not be made unless communicated. There are some paranormal activities happening at night

The breakfast was a little underwhelming. They had run out of yogurt so we couldn't have any. Any self respecting guest house should serve proper filter coffee. They only had Nescafe instant. The toast was basic ordinary bread. Something home made would be nice.

There was an arrangement of dead flowers in our bedroom when we arrived. The bathroom is lovely - very glamorous and spacious. But the toilet bowl is badly stained. The electric underblanket only extended to half the bed.

Caledon Grace Guest house is a “Grand old dame” that’s really let the traveler a glimpse into past grandeur!!!😃

As seasoned travelers, we've come to expect a certain level of hospitality from guest houses. Unfortunately, our stay at Caledon Grace didn't meet our expectations. We typically appreciate thoughtful touches like a warm welcome drink on chilly days, a pre-heated/cooled room, and extra amenities. However, our experience was lacking in these areas. Moreover, the cleanliness wasn't up to par, with remnants like toothpaste smears on the basin. It's clear that smaller guest houses often focus more on personalized service to compensate for their size. Caledon Grace could benefit from prioritizing guest experience and attention to detail to stand out.

Everything. I love the old Victorian style setting. Perfect place to stay! I will definitely be coming back again. The staff are all friendly and so welcoming. Thank you for having us over.
