Sai Homestay

The place was clean. The staffs (Ajit and Sumit) were so friendly. Given good suggestions on food and sightseeing. special thanks to the owner. He guided me throughout the trip.

The water from the taps was very slow. Difficult to drive the cars around the place. This is not the issue with the stay. Going around Malvan itself is a big challenge.

Very close to the beach and the boat jetty. Clean and spacious room and toilet.

Non-availability of a restaurant, no kettle for heating water, and old WC. Also, disturbance from the neighbours at night and no security at the gate.

I really liked the stay and the people, very relaxed, clean and comfortable.

Not much really, if my flight had not been delayed by 6 hrs I would likely have gone elsewhere.

The door lock was defective, it actually locked you in your room. I had to use a knife to get the door to open from the inside. At some stage, the door had been forced open from the outside and not repaired properly. It looked like someone had broken into the room.The room was cold and everything felt damp, including the towels. The pressure in to shower was poor and made taking a shower virtually impossible. The toilet seat was broken, window did not close properly, letting in the cold and mosquitoes. The wall paper was pealing off. It's not a place for family and certainly not a single woman.
