Breakfast was very good quality ingredients and servicing hot

The bed was clean and comfortable breakfast was very nice

The hotel was dated paper and grouting in the bathroom needs attention carpet needs a clean in the bedroom but for a place to sleep as a base was ok

When we arrived, the owner Geoffrey was there to meet us and show us to our room. This was filled with an extremely large and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent cooked to order with local produce. A great way to start the day! Th location could not have been better. It was next door to the James Herriot museum and within easy access of the shops and restaurants in beautiful Thirsk. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.
