The host went above and beyond his call of duty in assisting me obtaining a shipping company after I ended up unable to proceed with my cycling trip due to the many steep inclines in the Daigo, Ibaraki region. The cycling trip was cut short but I gained the chance to find the Daigo hospitality, care, true to heart and friendliness of the locals. A BIG thanks to Daigo's House Host for making what at first felt like gloom days ahead for me into sunny days.

The room for a solo traveller is equipped well, and I had a comfortable time during my stay. I could park my car in front of my room and it was so convenient to go around. Plus, we could make Instant coffee and tea for free in the dining room. The owner and staff are very kind.

The shower toilet didn't work, and I had to use paper. The house for solo travellers was isolated (still, so close), and I had to move to the central house each time for making coffee. I wished there would have been a small kitchen for travellers.
