Yellowstone Hot Springs Resort

The room is clean and tidy. Parking was easy. Hot spring was OK.

I arrived late and there's not enough lights to highlight the cabin number where street number caused more confusion. Also, there's no instruction on how to use lights, heater, and AC. Most of them are straightforward. But took me a little bit time to figure out the controller for AC also controls the top light. Hot spring is on another side of the road which is also not mentioned.

Location was ok but on a busy road, but not as noisy as we expected.

No crockery, cutlery or glasses, but says it has a kitchenette which given how far from Town one would expect more given it cost more than $300 per night. No sink in kitchenette so had to use bathroom sink. There were 3 of us so needed 3 beds and the sofa bed when opened meant you couldn’t get to the kitchenette. Upon arrival we told a member of staff, who was cleaning our room, but we were unhappy with the room. He contacted management and they said we could potentially have one night in a different chalet. However, given we were there for four nights, there is no point moving for one night. He told us that the manager would be coming back to deal with our complaint within 45 minutes and they never arrived, he also said that the big boss! Would be phoning us and that never happened either. It would seem that our complaint was irrelevant to them, probably because we had paid in advance. The accommodation was highly overpriced for what it was. What it was was very poor.

- Location: close to Yellowstone NP but quite secluded - Price affordable for that park - WiFi good for a park cabin - Hot Springs included

- Close to a major road - Kitchen amenities could be updated - Hot Springs require a short ride, but this is a trade-off for seclusion

I liked how close we were to Gardiner and Yellowstone and was exciting to wake up to elk in our yard.

We would have liked the use of the ceiling fans, the beds are not very comfortable and squeak loudly, and needs more light inside and front porch needed lights (needed lightbulb in one and were able to get second one to work).

Lovely, clean cabin with comfortable beds. Great to have the hot springs across the road and free to use.

I didn't realise before we arrived that we had to drive over to the hot springs. These were very busy and not that clean but it was peak summer time.

The bed was ok.

No registration office. Saw no one about accommodations. Was under the impression that the hot springs were on property. I still don't know where they were. No one to ask. River looked closer. Never found the wifi till we were leaving. Definitely not worth what we paid.

Outside of Gardiner but still close by. Was able to use the Spring for free since we stayed at the cabins. Huge cabin for 2 people to stay comfortably.

Old towels that had dead flies or tiny spiders. Half of the towels were covered by these dead bugs & unusable. The Hot Spring was closed on Monday so we could only use it for 1 day. Check out time was 10am, we’re used to 11am.

Hot Springs were free with the cabin rental. A nice perk

The cabin was so cozy. And the hot springs were amazing and fun for the whole family. It’s also a beautiful location and quite close to the Yellowstone Park entrance.

Floors were a little uneven. The only sink is in the bathroom.
