Yellowstone Hot Springs Resort

We came in on a Monday, so the Hot Springs were closed. We were just passing through on our road trip. We needed to get an early start on Tuesday into the park, so it seemed like we would not be able to swim in the pools. However, the staff was so gracious to allow my family and young grandchildren to swim in the pools an hour earlier on Tuesday morning. We are so appreciative!!! We were all looking forward to swimming in the hot springs and were not disappointed. Thank you so much!

We were notified that the sofa bed was broken by the previous guest and not useable. An extra bed was added to the room-thank you. However, there were few places to sit with a family of five, since the sofa was not useable as a sofa. We pulled the mattress from the sofa bed and my small granddaughter was able to sleep on floor with it. Also, there was not doorknob on the bathroom door, just a round hole.

The pools were clean and the water was nice. Staff was kind. Fans were provided and appreciated. The cabins were really quiet and if you unscrew the porch light nice an dark. It was easy to get into the park! We went to the park before sunrise which I would strongly recommend for animal watching, sunrise and no traffic.

The mattresses were very springy and when the couch bed is out you can't walk over to the coffee area. It was pretty tight for our family of 6 but would be good for a smaller group. To get from cabin to pools you have to cross a 70 mph road without a crosswalk or any ped x sign although you can see some distance. AC was minimal.

The cabins were great. We really enjoyed our stay.

The day we decided to go to the hot springs it was closed. I wish you would have let us know the times it was closed so we could have planned around them.

One out of 4 chalets, they look a bit old from the outside but the interior was lovely !! Excellent beds, nicely decorated. The hot springs (free entrance for the chalets, at the other side of the street at the camping) were super relaxing, we loved it !! Very close to the North entrance of Yellowstone NP !

A small refurbishment of the outside (for instance entrance door incl mosquito cover) would make the chalet perfect

It seemed run down. Our fan and light did not work in the bedroom of our cabin. Cobwebs in the closet. Couldn’t turn the outside lights off and the bugs were flocking to the light, couldn’t go out the door without being attacked. The front door wouldn’t close well unless you really yanked on it.

The pull out bed felt like you were gonna fall through at any moment there was no pillows for it and 1 tiny blanket also once you pull it out no one can get from the other side of the room if you were on that side there was no getting to bathroom bed was not strong enough to crawl over should mount tv on the wall and remove the table it sits on so you can maneuver around the bed when pulled out
