A delightful gem. Spotlessly clean, beautiful designed and decorated with welcoming touches. Warm and cozy. Lovely comfy bed.

Would have liked a reading light by the bed as once I was in it I didn’t want to get out again to switch off the light.

The bed was fine, but... And this was the only point I could criticise, the one pillow allocated (per person, not for the whole bed ☺️) was very skinny offering little or no support. Would recommend plumper pillows, or two of the same for a better snoozing experience.

Easy to find with plenty of off street car parking. Quiet rural location. Had all of the facilities you need for a city break.

Only a minor point about the WiFi in my room wasn’t great but this was quite minor as it was fine everywhere else at the property.

The family room was very comfortable and clean with enough space for 5 people. It also provides a little fridge with water and fresh milk for our brews. The breakfast was a perfect start for the day. Very welcoming and friendly hosts. Highly recommended.

Nice quiet location in the country but not far from Durham. Nice comfortable room. Superb full English breakfast. Friendly and helpful proprietor.

Very steep steps from cabin and no hand rail

It gave exactly what it ‘said on the tin’. We arrived very late and the host could not have been more helpful.
