Hostel Put Svile

I never slept in so extremely small room... Anyway it is good for overnighting. For a one night.

This hostel has a really good location, exactly at the bus station so it helps you a lot if you wil take or alresdy took the bus to go or from somewhere outside the city. Next, I like how they prepare you kitchen ware si you can cook comfortably. I also like how it has a spacious and clean public room.

how one of the owners act toward us. So, as an illustration, this hostel has 2 owners and they are brothers. At the beginning of my stay, I met the brother who was so nice and kind and gave great services, however when they changed shift, the other brother wasn't so friendly, he demads everything to be cleaned up to his standard and basically no heavy cooking even though the hostel prepared all the kitchen ware ready (pan, pot, spatula, everyhting). He didnt say this straightforwardly, but he's like making a whole speech about how he doesnt want to clean up eveytime 24/7 (which no one demands him to do it, just clean one time a day it's enough). He also gossip and complained about other, which I found so rude. I dont think the most important aspect is 100% cleaniness, but the more important thing is comfortability. So, if you can tolerate a bit about other people and straightforwardly say what you want, the you can improve your score.

I only stayed for one night but had was welcomed amazingly and really enjoyed my time! I would definitely recommend for anyone planning a trip to Subotica or just passing through! You can tell that the brothers who run the hostel are really passionate about their work, and that aside are very interesting to talk to. The common space as well has everything from a ping pong table to a pull up bar and is definitely not what you would expect at the entrance door.

My one comment would be the size of my room, it wasn't an issue for me due to the amazing common space but just to keep in mind that it's on the smaller side.

It is a small family-run hostel at the bus station of Subotica, not far from the city center. The rooms are small but there are many public spaces: a well-equipped kitchen and a large sheltered terrace. The hosts are super-helpful and nice. Will come again!

Everything was great. The room was too small (but it was ok).

Location is perfect. Literally two steps from the bus station. Staff is nice, always ready to help/support. It's very clean everywhere inside the place.

The cleanliness of this hostel is fantastic. The best value for the price not only in all of Subotica but even when compared to any other hostel I've ever stayed in! Perfect for when you just want to stay a night and rest assured that you will be sleeping in a bed with clean sheets, have a place dor shower, wifi, everything a hostel needs!

Very helpful and friendly owner. Speaks good English. He answered all my questions before I asked them, like how to get to Lake Palic and what are the best things to do there. Clean facilities, in good condition. Convenient location in the bus station, especially since trains aren't running now.

Room was small, not much space to move around. Treat it like a compartment or capsule hotel and it's ok for a short stay.

Great location just outside bus station. Spotlessly clean. Owner is on premises and maintains property in pristine conditions. Comfortable sitting area. Helpful and friendly owner. Great laundry facilities. Good kitchen utensils.

Rooms are small--barely larger than the bunk beds. Not a big problem for me. Limited toilets and showers, so if the hostel fills up, could be a wait. Maybe a bit pricey for what it is.
