IL Piccolo Castello Busteni

The architecture of this villa is incredible, especially when comparing with the rest of the typical pensions nearby. It sends you in the times of the monarchy. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and cozy! Thermal insulation of the walls is good thanks to their thickness. The hosts are kind! The location is great, just near the start of the mountain. Being on the second street parallel to the main road means no noise from cars! The view from the main entrance is great! I rated this property 8 out of 10 because the breakfast is not included in the price of the room, the sound insulation between rooms is not the best and the room lacks a wardrobe.

The breakfast is not included in the price of the room. It has to be paid separately per person, and it's quite pricy (40 RON/person). The floor between the 2 levels is made of wood, not concrete. Therefore, the sound insulation is not the greatest. But it's understandable and acceptable given when this villa has been built. The parking is outside of the villa, on the sidewalk. But the host assured us that in 12 years, no car has been evacuated - and indeed, each morning, our car was every time in the same place we left it in the evening :)).

Such a special atmosphere, and most welcoming hosts, a very special experience. The beds were great, and it was totally quiet. Special antique furniture, all was great. We also too the extra breakfast.

A bit far away from the city. Tea making facilities in the room would be appreciated.

Tucked away from the main road yet walkable distance from the shops. Unique property with lots of character, large rooms and high ceilings. Friendly host who made our family really welcome.
