It is not well maintained

The location and its views.

Unkempt. Lots of cobwebs and spiders and cockroaches. Dirty outdoor tables and chairs. Blocked shower drain in family unit. Dog poo around the barns. No hand soap.

They were very helpful and considerate. Changed our room to family room because I came with my little sister. Beautiful atmosphere. The bath is to die for.

Incredible lush setting in the nature. Beautiful farm where you can relax and unwind.

My mom and I really enjoyed our overnight stay. Sarel was so friendly, meeting us when we arrived. The room was very clean, neat and very comfortable. We had a delicious breakfast on the Sunday morning. Enjoyed the tranquility and country life. Also being able to check in a bit earlier than the actual check in time, helped a lot to get done for the function we had to attend in the afternoon.

Everything was great, no recommendations.

Green Gables is set in a beautiful location, with views over numerous typical McGregor thatched roof cottages. Close to the nature reserve and walking distance from town. The layout of the family unit was a bit unorthodox, and a kitchenette instead of the bath in the open plan living room/main bedroom would definitely add more value, turning it into a self-catering unit. The host was friendly and helpful, and communication was very good.
