Glamping Organic Farm Slibar

Breakfast was the best we had in Slovenia! Very friendly Dog! I wish I had stayed longer.

Beds are squeaky and there are no night curtains. I did not mind but others might.

My partner and I spent two amazing weeks at the apartment at Organic Farm Slibar. We received a warm welcome with home-made organic beer (delicious!) and were happy to buy more locally grown food (Polenta, milk, eggs, etc) from our kind and helpful hosts. In our apartment, everything was accounted for and organic: soaps and detergent, natual materials for cloth and a lot of wood work. We cooked a lot and really didn't miss anything. The little farm and glamping area is set up with love and care, but is kept charmingly simple. You sleep right next to a goat, some sheeps, chickens and geese and can pick your fresh herbs right from in front of your door. There is also a little pool to use when it's hot. We can only imagine that the place must be great for families with children as well. :) Organic Farm Slibar is situated in the small village of Kovor, about 20 minutes from Bled, about 1 hour drive from all destinations at the Triglav National Park. and only 30 minutes from Ljubljana. We used the perfect location for hikes in the Julian alps, but also checked out amazing local hiking routes around Trzic.

We really liked our little hut and the location, so there is really not much to complain about. The hut we stayed in was just finished and right next to the pool which could be a little loud at times, but only if you are especially sensitive to noise. It really was no problem for us at all.

It is so cozy! everything was very clean and the couple hosting were very friendly and caring. It is also a very quiet area, and when you wake up you have a delicious breakfast waiting for you! We really enjoyed our stay. We also bought some house made schnapps!

Lovely farm completely immersed in a green and quite area, with wonderful wooden cottages. The Slibar family is very friendly, we felt as being part of the farm life. There are several animals which are not attractions but real part of the farm. The breakfast was great with products directly from the farm. The private bathroom was outside, few meters away, but this was not really a problem, it was modern and really clean. Everything was perfect, really the best place to spend few relaxing days in contact with nature.

Nothing

Beautiful place full of nature. Great view to the mountains. Facilities was very clean and well maintained. We really appreciate that hosts respect the nature and pretty every material in the cottages was natural. We also love the nature details in the dining room. Breakfast are delicious. Host take care about the diversity of food - every day you can expect something new.

Common space under the roof would be perfect. We miss the place where we could sit during the bad weather.

The breakfast was spectacular, everything was homemade. the atmosphere is very warm with all farm animals around, looking at the mountains and just enjoying peace.

Bathroom could have been closer

Great Hosts, fabulous place, which educate and remind about basics - fundamental aspects of our day to day life. Amazing place for kids, where they are able to play, run and have fun with nature but also meet new friends. A lot to see in the neighborhood. Breakfasts were delicious! For sure would like to come back!
