Makedonia Studios at Harbour of Kamiros Skala

We stayed at Makedonia Studios for one night before taking the ferry to Halki. Our experience was excellent. We had a late flight and arrived at Makedonia Studios at night. Prior to our arrival, we notified the property, and they provided comprehensive information on how to access our room upon arrival. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The location is ideal, situated at the harbour of Kamiros Skala, and we could easily walk the short distance to the ferry the next day. The host was extremely helpful and accommodating. They even offered to buy bus tickets for our return trip from Kamiros Skala to Rhodos town a few days later. Overall, our stay at Makedonia Studios was very pleasant, and we would highly recommend it for anyone needing a convenient and comfortable place to stay near Kamiros Skala harbour.

We needed last minute accomodation due to a ferry being cancelled. When we arrived we were so warmly greeted by the hotel/restaurant owner and her family. The place was clean and beautiful and after a pretty stressful day of travel we couldn't have felt more comfy or spoilt. We ate our dinner here too and the food was AMAZING! We wished we could stay longer!

We stayed here for one night before taking the ferry to Chalki. The room was perfect for what we needed and good value for money. The port is just a minute away which was ideal. The hosts were helpful and responsive, and understanding we arrived very late with a delayed flight.

Perfect stay for an early ferry to Halki from Kamiros Skala. Hosts waited for us to arrive from a late flight. Was very much appreciated. Accommodation was clean and comfortable.

Our stay at Makedonia was beyond our expectations - this is a little, quiet family run accomodation with everything you need, topped with the kindest hospitality. Our host waited and guided us to our room despite our late check-in, made us a delicious breakfast the next day. Their restaurant is one of the absolute bests in the island - fresh, flavourful local products made with love. I just loved everything. I am a musician and we celebrated my album release there with my boyfriend, and Makedonia made it even better. Also, you can go dolphin-watching, Blutopia is just 2 steps away:)

Ideal place to stay before catching the boat to Halki. Lovely family running it - had a great meal when we arrived in the evening. The air conditioning was wonderful, as it was very hot. We actually had two rooms, as there was a single bed in the living/kitchen area, and as we were two friends, rather than a couple, it was perfect for us. There was a sea-view balcony off the main bedroom which was lovely to step out to in the morning. The beds were super comfy.

Breakfast was very kindly supplied, and served by a really lovely lady, it's just that it wasn't quite what we would have chosen. However, it was nice to have a bite before going down to the port for the boat.

When you arrive at a place and you get a lovely friendly welcome with a big smile you know you are going to have a great stay. What a great place run by the nicest people imaginable. The food and drink is beyond amazing and really fantastic value. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night, this is so much more than an overnight stop before getting the ferry to Halki. There is a lovely beach in a cove with a bar only a few minutes walk away where we had a great swim and a drink and there are free sun loungers too. We will definitely go back to Makedonia in the future and will stay more than one night the next time! Room was great with ice cold air con, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. One of the best places run by the best people :-)
