What we loved about this property was its convenient location to the Halki Ferry. The property was clean, quiet and comfortable. But the outstanding feature was the welcoming owner Emily and her family. Finally, possibly the best authentic Greek food we have eaten so far. Many thanks Makedonia…. We will return.

Second stay. It’s a great place to stay for getting early morning boat to Halki. Lovely friendly hosts and good food. excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed and fly screen on opening window so plenty of air and no mosquitoes. Good shower and plenty of hot water. All good. Will stay again.

nothing except portions too much at evening dinner - maybe I was just too tired.

"Perfect"

Macadonia is the perfect place to spend the night before heading over to Hockey. Emily Maria and Nicholas are charming hosts who go out of their way to cater for your every need. The food is always delicious and ever so fresh.

"If your going to Halki this has to be your stopover"

What an amazing team. From booking to arranging a taxi from the airport, to then arriving at 22.30 ( delayed flight) to be welcomed by Maria's mother who even though the restaurant was closed produced a lovely salad , grilled fish and a just lovely attitude. Breakfast was a delight. She even took us to the charming beach afterwards in her car. Wow, that is service . Cannot speak highly enough of these guys.
