Well we booked a one day stay but than we extended to next day as well because of the service, reaort cleaniness and ofcourse the staff. Humble and active on their service. Will definitely book this again to our next stay to mukhteshwar.

The way up ti the place was beautiful and serene though OT was night time but what we dealt with at this place was annoying.

Here's what we dealt with: 1. We booked an entire cottage, just to find that they were giving us a room attached to several rooms sharing a common balcony walkway. (No privacy for couples). Then we asked them to show us the biggest room they have as we had specifically booked a cottage. ( Mind you, we had told them and confirmed, that we have booked a cottage in advance and that we would arrive late at night since we were driving) They showed us the biggest room and again it had a common balcony with another room. 2. We told the manager we had booked a bungalow ( cottage ) as it was specified on Booking.com and he looked extremely confused and kept repeating that " There is no 'Banglo' here". 3. We were too tired and just took the biggest room, I might add, is right above the kitchen so you cough your lungs out while climbing up. Next we enter room no. 2. We found that, out of the 4 lights on each wall and a lamp, only one light worked and the lamp switch was loose but it worked after we attached it to another outlet. We told them that the lights are not working and they again looked confused but did not offer to replace the bulbs or even try to fix them. 4. There was no turn-down service. They didn't even ask if we wanted the rooms cleaned. 5. Now the bathroom, the only thing bathing under the shower was the tap that fills the bucket. And the water jet washed all of you than what it meant for. (It was leaking) Thank god the geyser worked. Now let me tell you what we dealt with with the food. 1. We had specifically and emphatically asked them to avoid any sort of chillies in the food. We repeatedly while placing the order for breakfast, lunch and dinner reminded them that we cannot tolerate spicy food, yet it fell on deaf ears. 2. First day we ordered butter chicken with Naan and that had several green chillies along with red chillies and to overcompensate, the chef had put sugar in it.

Well maintained property manned by caring and hardworking staff. The cooking was exceptional especially the Pahadi khana.

The location doesn’t provide the best views and the photos of the views are a bit deceptive.

Staffs were very good.
