Super 7Bed House - Hot Tub - Large Gathering Meets

Just about everything we are a family of 14 ranging in age from 5 t0 76 with all ages in-between. Convenient for Bus's and Trains in all directions a large group took a day trip to Scotland, we did York, Harrogate , Knaireborough, Ilkley Cow and Calf, Otley Chevin and Town, Bradford, Bigley, Scarborough, and of course Lots of Leeds the Armories, Kirkstall Abbey. The younger generation took in the night life. There was a big family reunion at Oxford Taps Guiseley, where Tony wOODS pORK pies went over well among other great Yorkshire favoutites like Drippin and Bread a Family Picnic on Yeadon Dam an Old Family Tradition and finally a Family Gathering at Hawksworth Farm for dinner before we returned to Canada. House location was good, plenty of parking. Was allowed later check out New Years Day which was really appreciated.

Reasonably priced but could do with a bit of an update, felt like student accomodation. Floor in lounge damaged, more and newer pillows would be good. No batteries in TV remote, no tea towels for drying dishes. Plug for kitchen sink did not work. Curtains in back bedroom had come off pole, so we had to fix, curtains in downstairs front bedroom did not reach windowledge. One of bar stools had broken seat, one of dining chairs had broken seat. Could do with information for which bins for recycling.

Location is good and there was plenty of space.

Cleanliness could have been better (there was still a bikini from a previous user in the shower in our room) for example and sink in downstairs toilet was not draining. Heating hadn’t been put on and the property was very cold when we arrived, which isn’t ideal with small children. No batteries in TV remote. Some marks on bedding where it looked dirty.

Love the location and the size, perfect for the whole family to get together. Beds were comfy.

Boiler fault, no heating, no hot water in the showers. Heating managed to be fixed after 4-5 hrs freezing. Hot tub wasn’t set up, despite confirmation we would be using it, couldn’t use it at all as the water was cold all night. Small portable radiators were brought as a solution but the second I turned it on the fire alarm sounded. Hot water couldn’t be fixed so no one could shower. Sink in downstairs toilet was flooded.

Location was perfect for the event we were attending. Kitchen seating was good because it meant we could all chat while we cooked. Beds were clean and comfortable, although were all doubles despite 2 twins having been advertised. Owners were as helpful as they could be, polite and friendly, and acted to deal with the problems.

Generally dirty, multiple things broken. I’m told it has all been fixed.

Great size and had everything we needed. Location was perfect.

There was a smoke alarm which was constantly beeping and we couldn't work out how to turn off the heating.

The property was fine, beds were comfortable! And clean bedding was on, we had clean towels in draws and tea, coffee and sugar in the canisters. Enough bedrooms to cater us all!

Slight problems were we waited an hour after check in time at the property for the owner to arrive with a key to get into the property as the owner never left one in the safe box, but I had a code for it, luckily enough we came in a car or would have been waiting on the doorstep! The owner said he would have the hot tub sorted and ready for us to use as we paid for it and we had to sort this ourselves as they forgot to do it. There were pictures of another party who must have been before us still on the door, which makes us believe it wasn’t fully inspected and cleaned before we arrived.
