Wow this one is unique - it is an old barn converted to a huge living room and kitchen with a garden on both sides. This is definitely no Scandinavian sterile environment but like living in a museum. Our kids loved the gardens, to explore and to run around.

Well - it is a rural area so there were quite a few flies.

The "common" space. Precisely: a luxury renovated barn, with projection tv, museum of old phones and tv's is extraordinary. The house where you have bathroom and bedrooms (there are two - we were in one) is a blast of the past, with modern comfort. Very very nice. The owners put ther soul energy and money in what the offer. Congrats, perfect hosts!!!

The pictures don't do justice for how great everything looks. So many timepieces from the 80's and 90's that teleport you to other times. Mrs Cristina and Mr Nelu are the best hosts you can wish for.

Depending on the room and the size you have :) you might find the bed a bit small or squeaky.

The house is big and very clean with big garden and a small playground for children. they also have projector for movie and super well-equipped kitchen.

Our recent stay at the house in Porumbacu de Sus was an absolute dream come true. We felt as though we were in our own secluded paradise, shielded from the outside world by lush greenery. It was the perfect setting to unwind, savor a cup of coffee, or simply immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature. Another standout feature of our stay was the exceptional hospitality of the owners. Their willingness to go the extra mile to make our stay memorable was truly heartwarming. Not only did they provide us with a warm welcome, but they also assisted us in planning our trekking trip, offering local insights that added depth and authenticity to our experience.
