The whole property is an amazing experience in itself! Everywhere you look, everywhere you wonder, there's things to amaze and discover, that were clearly given a lot of thought! We loved it!

Sound connection to projector for normal TV was a challenge.

The overall experience was great. The living area was absolutely amazing, from the museum vibe of the communist era to the open space which provided a great indoor playground for our kids with great interaction for the adults. The backyard is well maintained and has also a playground for the kids. We appreciated the tiny but important details such as the existence of coffee, cooking oil, baking paper, wood for barbecuing. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the table was big enough to fit everybody. You can tell that nothing is there by mistake, everything was very well imagined and the industrial/rustic design tickles your sight. The comfort was not neglected even if they have used old pieces of furniture (for e.g. the mattresses are from this decade). The bathrooms had very good sizes and were super clean. Maybe other relevant info for those interested: two of the double bedrooms are sharing the same bathroom; the heat system was working fine, the indoor temperature was perfect; a Bluetooth speaker is available; the living area has a video projector with a TV module integrated in it.

The street facing bedrooms have the old windows which aren't sound proof at all so all the cars create quite a noise.

Very original house, which is definitely suitable and intended for fans of the 80s! We had the feeling that the owner wanted to keep the house as much as possible in its original condition and restored it accordingly. However, the bathrooms were all very modern and contemporary! Lots of space in the front and back garden. The owner was very responsive and also always sent a neighbor by when there were problems (power failure, turn on the heating after arrival). Nevertheless, we would strongly recommend to create a short manual for such big houses like Sura to cover all the technical questions (What to do when there's no electricity? How to adjust the temperature in the rooms?)

It would be nice to have TVs in the bedrooms as well (Netflix, streaming...). The large cinema with the projector is very original, but also tedious with time (projector reacts slowly, already a little discolored). More comfortable seating in the large living room (eg couch) would have been nice. The beanbags are again very original, but in the long run a bit tedious. The location of the house is very nice in the village, but you are not very alone. The rooms and windows are not soundproofed, in the large bedroom you can hear the street noise (cars, carriages, and trucks) and people passing by. Unfortunately, you can also hear very much the neighbors who like to listen to Romanian folk music or in our case also apparently slaughtered a pig (for this the accommodation can not do anything, but you are unfortunately subject to the noise of the environment). Some facilities and games in the living room are unfortunately already a bit broken.
