Villa Bordoni

Breakfast incredible, dinner incredible. Loved the atmosphere - lovely, elegant and friendly.

Our room was very warm - just a little tweak.

We had the most memorable stay at Villa Bordoni. It was the second location of four that we visited while in Italy, and by far the best. The villa was charming, the rooms were clean and old worldly, the grounds were magnificent and the food, oh the food!!! The breakfasts and dinners were delicious, the wine was wonderful and the local Gin was great. We did the cooking class which was wonderful. I now make my own pasta! We went with a group of friends so we got to see a few of the rooms. We were in what I call the Romeo and Juliet room (it had a cute little interior balcony), we also got to see the chapel room and the "attico" room. The toiletries in the room were top shelf. I liked them so much I ordered some online. The bed was very comfortable and the towels plentiful and fluffy. By the end of our way too short stay we got know the staff. They made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Catering to our every need! The town of Greve and Montoferolli are a short drive and a doable walk away. Greve had a beautiful square with lovely shops and great restaurants. There are also wineries close by to visit. We are hoping to return, this time for a longer stay. Villa Bordoni has our hearts. Incredible place set in beautiful surroundings. We had the garden room which id highly recommend! Staff are incredibly nice and helpful, breakfast and restaurant food is gorgeous! Did a cooking lesson with Thomaz which was amazing, he was great! Highly recommend!

This was our 2nd stay at Villa Bordoni. The first time we had 9 perfect days and this time we had 10 perfect days. The room was spacious, immaculate and most comfortable. Breakfast was beyond delicious and most filling. We so looked forward to dinner each night with exceptional service and the most creative and beautifully presented dishes. Every staff member goes above and beyond to make sure that your stay is pleasant and perfect in every way. We really enjoyed our Villa Bordoni friends and can hardly wait until our next stay!

Excellent care from Villa Bordoni during our 5 night stay! A return trip to Greve will definitely include a stay at Villa Bordoni! Beautiful Villa, clean & quiet, with wonderful food & hospitality all in the beautiful Chianti countryside. Recommendations for local vineyard tour was spot on! Travel to Florence by bus (about 1 hr) was 5 Euros each way; the bus was a great way to avoid the hassle of driving! Travel to Santa Maria Novella train station & stop at the Mercado on your walk to central Florence! Siene is a short drive away, making it a great day trip from Villa Bordoni!

Fantastic experience, best hotel/villa we've ever stayed in on our 8 trips to Italy. Beautiful location outside Greve in Chianti (close enough if you don't mind a 30 minute walk). Hillside vineyards and olive groves. Great restaurant right here, loads of fun cooking class offered most days, we had Maria teaching us for 7 hours, lots of wine but great way learn how to make homemade pasta and other Italian specialties. We stayed in Limonaia which had a wonderful terrace area, everything in our room was perfect. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Could not have been better, will definitely be back.

The staff were the best we have ever encountered. Nothing was an issue for them and the food was also outstanding.
