Villa Bordoni

We are currently staying at Villa Bodoni and the words cannot describe this exceptional experience. The people, the grounds and the atmosphere are absolutely incredible. You feel like you are spoiled by the staff and the grounds. The staff is exceptional and makes you feel like family. The pool and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous. What a special treat to be at this amazing hotel. Thank you, Villa Bordoni for making our 20th anniversary incredibly special

What a beautiful hotel. The setting is stunning and the rooms were cool and very comfortable. All of the staff were superb. In particular the reception team who were generous with their advice and local knowledge. We enjoyed an amazing visit to a winery and lunch in a restaurant in Lamole, which was all organised for us. We stayed at the villa for five nights and loved our time there. The breakfast was superb. We only ate lunch there once, but that was also very good. The only disappointment for us was the evening meals. The menu didn’t change and we felt that the quality of the food didn’t live up to the high standards of the rest of the hotel.

The villa itself is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, elegant, and full of Tuscan charm—but it’s the people who truly make it special. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, offering warm, personalized service from start to finish. A highlight of our stay was the exceptional cooking class. It was hands-on, fun, and informative, and the meal we created (paired with Villa Bordoni’s own excellent wines) was unforgettable. Speaking of wine—their house wines are outstanding and really added to the overall experience. From relaxing in the gardens to enjoying gourmet meals and exploring the surrounding countryside, every moment felt thoughtful and authentic. This isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to savor. Highly recommended, and we’re already looking forward to coming back! ⸻

The rooms, the gardens, the people and the food were all outstanding. The staff always made us feel so welcome and did their best to accommodate our large group. The cooking class with Maria was a ton of fun and a highlight. We highly recommend Villa Bordoni for it's beautiful and quaint environment.

At the end of a winding, mostly one lane road, you finally arrive here and never look back. Small hotel, little to do but relax, drink wine, eat too much and enjoy the beautiful panorama. After 9 days in Rome, having my wife run me ragged, this was perfect. Feel motivated, drive down that crazy road visit a vineyard. Have already mentally planned our 2027 return visit.

Everything about this quant hotel is perfection. The unique and well appointed rooms are comfortable and quiet. The incredible free breakfast spread with incredible cappuccinos is such a great way to start. The little restaurant with incredible views never disappointed. The grounds were clean and beautiful, the staff was attentive and everything else was perfect. The only caveat is the one lane dirt road for the last two miles but hey, it's Italy. A little crazy driving is par for the course. The nearby town of Greve has fun shopping and dining and the picturesque town of Montefiorre was fun to walk around. Only 30 minutes from Florence. This little gem in Tuscany is a must.

Villa Bordoni is an absolute gem! The setting is stunning, and the peace and serenity of the grounds make it a relaxing oasis. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and really made us feel special. The apartment was comfortable and appealing, and had lovely sitting areas to relax and plan our touring in the beautiful Chianti region. Eating out in the garden was most convivial, and the food was excellent. Our family did the cooking class with Maria and it was the highlight of our trip. Maria is an excellent teacher and a lovely person, and we all had great fun learning to create iconic Italian dishes.

The setting of the hotel was beautiful as was the hotel and grounds , olive groves, lemons and amazing roses . The staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful throughout our stay. Food and wine was excellent , couldn’t have asked for more. There are lots of places surrounding Grieve to visit for a nice lunch , views ,history etc . We really recommend a visit to this hotel it’s beautiful.

Absolutely amazing. Prior to my stay - they helped arrange wine tastings & a cooking class for my husband and I. They made great recommendations that were local, authentic experiences. The Villa Bordoni grounds are gorgeous. The private pool and gardens are so relaxing. Excellent food. Beautiful rooms. One of the highlights of our trip!
