Such a beautiful place! The owners are amazing and there‘s so much love in every detail of the house! Also the breakfast is just great. 100% recommend this place for a stay in portugal.

"Exceptional"

This was the second time we stayed with Vanessa&Dick and we again really enjoyed it. By now they are offering yoga lessons depending on demand and that was a great start to the day prior to enjoying the great breakfast. Highly recommend staying at Birds of Paradise.

Birds of Paradise is an amazing place. You can find a good rest and peace here. Vanessa and Dick are amazing hosts that help with everything and are super friendly and lovely. The atmosphere in the house is familiar. We felt very cozy there. And a highlight is definitely the breakfast. You will find vegan and organic products and they offer a good variety. We absolutely loved it. We did not miss anything in birds of paradise and want definitely to come back.

clean, cute, great breakfast, close to several good surf beaches, lovely pool area, very friendly and caring owners who help u with all they can and know about the area, surf, food, hikes etc. only around 6 rooms, so there r just a few other guests around but if u like u can always connect with them. cooking for dinner yourself also worked really well, dishwasher available. loves it

"Perfect!"

Clean and very beautiful hotel in a quiet and safe vicinity with two absolutely adorable host. Products and food are regional and home made. They helped us planning activities, getting bicycles and taxis. Gluten free diet was no problem at all. Would definitely recommend 100% and come again!

The hosts were fantastic! They shared local knowledge including excellent restaurants, beach locations, hikes, sunset options and surfing information. The breakfast was delicious and healthy and a wonderful opportunity to visit the other guests. The details in the design of the room, common areas and landscaping were lovely too. we would highly recommend this special spot!
