Meraviglia d'Otranto- Garden Apartments con parcheggio e spiaggia convenzionata

Location was close to the seaside and nice walking areas and not far from the city. Great window shutters. Possibility to eat your meals outside although with the view to the street. Lemon trees with very good lemons. Washing machine was very useful. Lovely cat and dog were a bonus.

I did not expect the apartment to be so small and no kitchen hood made it difficult to cook. The place is ok for 2 people staying 2-3 nights max, but rather not for a longer holiday. I chose the place based on the score on booking.com, but I think it is not adequate. I would give 7 out of 10.

Perfect location, close to the city of Otranto but away from the buzz. We felt truly welcomed by Antonio who was super helpful when we needed him. Clean and well planned apartment with everything necessary for our stay.

We had the pleasure of encountering incredibly friendly and helpful hosts during our stay. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and were always available to assist us with any inquiries or needs that arose. Their warm and welcoming nature truly made a positive impression on us. The apartment's surroundings were equally delightful. The presence of lemon and apple trees added a charming touch to the environment, creating a serene and refreshing atmosphere. We took pleasure in strolling through the grounds and appreciating the natural beauty that enveloped the property. Additionally, being so close to Otranto allowed us to easily explore the city.

While our overall experience was positive, there were a few aspects that fell short of our expectations. Given the location, we had hoped for a bit more spaciousness, especially considering our need for storage space, particularly with a little one in tow. Unfortunately, we found ourselves with limited areas to place our belongings, resulting in some items being placed on the floor. Additionally, we had anticipated a private apartment with a terrace; however, it turned out to be more of a separate room adjacent to another, and regrettably, the terrace did not offer the desired level of privacy.

This is a lovely property a little outside of Otranto, both for couples and families. It is absolutely ideal to explore the area, especially the southern coastline, but also Otranto itself which has a beach right in the town, a very interesting cathedral and castle. We could not have asked for nicer hosts: Daniela and Antonio were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
