The place and the family is amazing ! I had the best time in Ella. Food was super good and they treat me like a family member. Totally recommended

There were mosquitos but no mosquito nets. Some plug points are not working. Only one light per room

The owners are fantastic and so welcoming The views from the room are beautiful Breakfast was delicious Owner gave me tips on where to go to see the best sites

The only thing that was ok was the location.

When we arrived the staff (a woman) was impolite, but after some kind of staring contest she showed us to our room. The room did not meet our expectation. Everything was old and worn. None of the doors closed properly, the blanket on the bed was basically a towel (it didnt cover the entire bed and was way to small and thin), the washroom was dirty as well and it smelled like cigarettes. After that they asked us to pay. However, she tried to charge us 30 USD more than was on the price on booking.com (not including the 10% sevice charge which seems to be common here). That was when we walked out. Do not book here!

But for me, the advantages do not exceed negative insuperation from stay: the number is dirty enough. The bed was wet probably due to high humidity. Very small water pressure. I met two cockroaches in room also. I advise you to stay if you are not too negligent and strict, then you will be pleased with the hospitality of the hosts, breakfast, and view from the window. But be ready that the rooms are really in a not very pleasant condition.

Great location: between downtown and little Adam's Peak (15 minute walk to either point). Beautiful view of the mountains from the room. There is a parking space. Very nice and welcoming hosts :)

The hotel is located on a mountain like almost all other hotels, so if you're out of shape, you may have a hard time getting there :)

The view is incredible. Owner was friendly and helpful with trips. Breakfast was tasty. Rooms were clean.

We arrived with bad wheather, so tv signal was off, also we observed high humidity. But we believe these such things owner can’t affect.
