Reef Bungalow Hotel

It is a beach front property where you get the beach, though public, at your disposal because it is at a secluded area. Best for people looking for solitude and pristine peace of mind. The staff is great and very helpful always available. The property having 4-5 rooms only thus not crowded at all. Food wise one gets what are basics but workable. I would love to go again.

The location address at the booking.com is erroneous therefore confuses you unless you contact the property directly. In Google map search one should write only Reef Bungalow Bopitiya. There is one more property of same name 5 KM away. I was late in arriving at the property and faced a major hassle as around 9 PM the road was deserted.

We booked the whole hotel, all 4 rooms. So we had a lot of privacy and the swimming pool to ourselves. The pool is large and incredibly clean. The owner Damith (Dani) is very friendly and Pobudu cooks very tasty and delicious food. We ate breakfasts and late lunches in the accommodation. The location suited us, as we have visited Sri Lanka 3 times in the past... The sea/ocean is not suitable for swimming but that's okay, there is a large swimming pool.

The whole house needs renovation. The owner has plans for renovations and showed them to me. I personally don't like it because it will turn a piece of private paradise into a 12-room hotel (or more rooms). Of course Damith I wish you all the best and we send our regards to all three boys.

Deep pool, nice owner and staff, good food.

We got a "free" room upgrade but we didn't get our Genius discount so in the end we ended up paying for the room-upgrade which wasn't necessary by our means.

located right on the beach, has an extremely clean swimming pool! My room was spacious and the hosts could not have more accommodating, will make whatever kind of food you prefer whether western or Sri Lankan. If you stay there is a local boat tour of the lagoon that is very interesting!

Stayed here for one night before going to the airport and it was perfect. Nice room, great pool and all the staff were lovely. Would definitely recommend!

The breakfasts was amazing and the location was super nice Gayan and the other boy did there best to make our stay memorable and its like homely the baby pool was so good and clean water my baby really enjoyed it thank you very much for your great service

Daniel the owner of the villa is an amazing person, helped us a lot, very tasty food, everything is clean, amazing view, and amazing people!
