Reef Bungalow Hotel

The pool and the ocean view was amazing. The room with AC was good, Staff was very friendly upon arrival and helped with our baggage.

Some upgrades in the room are needed like the matress which was not comfortable, it was missing some of the amenities advertised on the website such has coffee and tea available in the room and the shared kitchen is fasly advertised, because we were told that we needed to pay additional fees if we wanted to cook in the shared kitchen. We had to pay Rs3,000 for tea and coffee. And the food was way over priced but there isn't any restaurant or market near by. Overall there were so many hidden fees not mentioned on booking.com that the owner decided to add. Even though we didn't stay our full stay we ended paying almost Rs,10,000 extra for our overall stay, the final bill was given to us hand written on a piece of paper no proper billing. I would advise to prepay on Booking website so you don't end up overcharged. We left feeling ripped off and disappointed too because the hotel landscape is beautiful. We would of really enjoyed our stay if it wasn't for the miscommunication and extra charges

- Friendly Staff - Very Quite clam place. - Swimming Pool access is just front of our Suit Room.

- We stay in a Suite. Bed is not comfortable. Better Spring mattress to be changed. - No breakfast serve.

Very nice landscape, very nice staff and delicious food

Peaceful, comfortable and very spacious property right next to the beach, 20mins from the airport with good host. Airport pickup/drop off and excursions available.

A little worn, but owner working on refreshing and growing the property. A little too far to walk to any shops or restaurants, although transport is available

This was one of my favourite places to stay in Sri Lanka. A quite location by the beach with nice size rooms and good facilities. Host and staff friendly and helpful. Recommended.

The staff was very nice, and once we arrived they helped us instantly to take our bags. When we noticed that our wifi didn't work, they instantly plugged in the router next to our room! When we needed to prolong our stay for a day, there was no problem with that whatsoever. The room was nice, but not as modern as we expected for the price, but it was ok. The same with the cleanliness.

The location is rather far from everything, and there is no restaurants anywhere near. Also, you cannot swim in the ocean, only in the pool, but that one is great!
