Very central, very cheap

Ants in the room, humidity stains on walls, very old towels, quite some noise from some equipment in the hostal’s patio

Simple, clean rooms. Good hot shower. Good WiFi. Kitchen with the most necessary utensils. Close to the harbor and many restaurants, tour operators and everything travelers need.

The toilet wasn't an actual toilet, i.e. it was just divided with walls that didn't go up to the roof, and additionally you couldn't close the door when you were in the there, only from outside. The sheets and towels had quite many stains on them.

Cold showers! The opening times of the reception

Right on the main street close to the pier, great location and price wasn't bad for Galapagos. Had free drinking water in the kitchen which was nice and at least they had a kitchen unlike many hostels here.

The sink in the bathroom leaked and the shower dripped non-stop so there was constantly a lot of water on the floor of the bathroom which made using it unpleasant. I let the staff know but the when I came back the next week (and got the same room) it was the same. There was no plug near the bed to plug in electronics and it was chilly with just a single sheet at night.

Apart from the fact that there’s no availability of staff for help, at the times they are- they’re extremely rude and far from helpful. That’s without mentioning the numerous cockroaches inside the rooms and showers. Would definitely not go back to that place…
