Room Calafatari

The apartment is tiny, but comfortable enough. Everything is new and perfectly clean. It is enough for a couple. The location is not far from the market with fruits and seafood. It is on the ground floor with a private entrance and has a closed front yard with outdoor furniture where you can have breakfast or lunch. The kitchen has a coffeemaker, a gas stove and fridge. Also there are salt, pepper, sugar and coffee. The bed is comfortable and you can choose the size of the pillows. Wi-fi is good! Communication with the host was great.

The location is very good to visit and very walkable. The bed was very comfortable. There is a nice little kitchen. Pretty clean. Good information given by the host, I had a hard time getting in but that was because my phone wouldn't play the videos.

The kitchen area could use a bit of a deep clean. I'm not saying the apartment wasn't clean, it was.

The owner was very nice and friendly. The apartment is small, but price-quality is very fair. There is no washing machine but there is a Self-service laundry very close. The apartment is in a cozy and quiet area, so no noise during the night.

The location is great, the bed is super comfortable, kitchen is equipped with everything you may need. The hosts are very nice and helpful. Overall great value for money.

Nice, small and clean apartment for a couple. The apartment had everything we needed. The location is excellent and peaceful. The host was helpful and friendly. We really enjoy our time at Room Calafatari.

We've had a good experience at the Room Calafatari. Jonathan (the Host) is a nice person and quick to reply. Your pick-up from Catania Airport can be arranged by the Host. The location of the room is very convenient for those who want to stay at one and the same time in historical Ortigia and in a quiet neighborhood. The room was clean and well-equipped. Good place for a couple-of-day stay for those looking for the place where they can have a good sleep after interesting sightseeing tours.
