B&B Casa Mia

It was so personal and homey. It was exactly what I needed at this point in my travels and Paulo/Laura were so kind to me. Providing lovely conversation and helpful suggestions for what to do in the area, my stay here was the perfect combination of a personable stay with a beachside vacation. I’d be lucky if I can come again :)

The location is slightly out of the way from the main historical city centre of Desenzano del Garda. But it turns out this is what I liked about it as well, as you have some peace and quiet from the crowds and get a more unique local experience.

Lovely B&B run by a really nice couple. Laura and Paulo are amazing. Very helpful and knows so much about the surrounding area. The B&B is in a quiet location, which we really appreciated. Restaurants and access to the lake a 5 minute walk. Desenzano town is about a 30 min stroll along the lake (catch the sunset on your walk back to the B&B). Or you can catch the bus. There is some parking at the property and several free parking spaces nearby if you have a car. Several parking options in Desenzano. Would love to go back one day and explore more of the region. And I know just the couple to ask for ideas!

Great place to stay! Spacious and very clean room. Excellent breakfast in the garden. Close to local restaurants and only a few minutes from the lake. Possibility to borrow a bike. Laura and Paulo are wonderful hosts, super friendly and helpful. Got good tips to explore Desenzano and nearby areas.

The breakfast was amazing, set up lovely and a good selection of foods. Location was ideal in a very nice village with some good restaurants and right next to a bus station. Laura and Paulo were so helpful for anything we needed and made us feel very welcome! Would recommend 10/10

Amazing people, clean, comfy bed, private parking.

Laura and Paolo run this excellent B&B in Rivoltella in Desenzano. Laura sent exact instructions to reach her home by bus from the station and check in took just a minute. Got the keys to the house and to my room so I could come and go as I pleased. They live just next door with tiny Tuna and 6 chickens. We sat down over coffee to review my sightseeing plans and Laura has lots of brochures, maps, bus timetables, ferry information, etc. and her cheerful advice was spot on. I spent a leisurely hour walking the waterfront down to Desenzano harbour, explored the lovely little town and then took the bus back in the evening. Breakfast was tasty and filling, E8 extra and freshly made exactly as I liked it. My first floor room was large, clean, quiet and very comfortable with the airconditioning maintaining an exact warm/cold temperature. I had a double bed plus a loft above with another bed big enough for 2 kids. Nice balcony with a view of the garden. Clean bathroom with toiletries and good hot shower. Stayed 3 nights and took day trips on the train to Verona and bus to Sirmione. Excellent base to explore the area.

Great location, with some local restaurants and a beach bar. The hosts could not be more accommodating, breakfast each morning in the garden was so nice. The air-conditioning in the room was AMAZING especially in the heat wave. Everything was perfect 👍
