JN sunflower residence

Die Besitzerinnen waren super! Jedes Anliegen wurde direkt behandelt und sie konnten mir tolle Tipps geben. Die Gastfreundschaft war genial. Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

Очень отзывчивая и вежливая хозяйка. Кормила вкусно. Помогла распланировать отдых, любое вопросы решала на счет экскурсий и аренды мопеда, ещë часть разменяла. И самое главное, можно было по прибытию оплатить, даже скидку сделала.

До пляжа нужно добираться либо на такси, либо на своëм транспорте. Автобусы до ближайшего пляжа Ле-Морн не ходят.

Pension à 5-10 min en voiture du départ pour le morne brabant. En face de la plage et possible coucher de soleil côté morne brabant Les chambres côté route donnent sur les arbres et la plage, c’est très sympa. Par contre la route est très bruyante, boules quies indispensables. et ambiance boîte de nuit un dimanche soir à côté… Les restos sont dispo en voiture (village touristique de la gaulette à 10min par exemple). Possible de garer la voiture sur le trottoir, sinon parking de la plage plus loin. Pas vraiment d’interactions avec les habitants sur nos 3 jours. Grands espaces communs si vous voulez faire la cuisine. Douches communes pour 2 des chambres. Température de l’eau difficilement réglable.

The residence was very comfortable, clean and cozy. There was a welcoming vibe of peace. The owners were warm and very nice!

I had a very unpleasant stay at this property. I booked for a one night stay for 2 people from Thursday 14 May 2026 to Friday 15 May 2026. When we arrived at the property, the owner's daughter assisted us with check in and payment for one night stay had to be made in cash while checking in which was fine for me. I checked in the accomodation on Thursday 14 May 2026 at around 4pm. Upon check-in, the owner's daughter assisted us with the check-in and payment for one night (€35) was made by cash as requested by the residence. The owner's daughter demanded that we pay tourist tax for two people, even though I am Mauritian (i hold a Mauritian passport and Mauritian ID card). I explained the owner's daughter as per Mauritius Revenue Authority, it's only my partner (non mauritian) who has to pay tax not me as I am a mauritian citizen living abroad. The owner's daughter further added since I made the booking from Australia and I included country of residence as Australia, that's why I will be charged tourist tax. I explained the owner's daughter that I live in Australia so obviously my country of residence will be Australia and not Mauritius but she keep on insisting that I pay my tourist tax of €3. She stated booking.com will charge her the €6 (€ 3 for myself and €3 for my partner) for tourist tax when she submit her monthly report to booking.com. I informed her the tourist tax is payable to Mauritius Revenue Authority and not booking.com as booking.com has nothing to do with tourist tax in Mauritius. She asked me to review the €3 tourist tax refund with booking.com, for myself being a mauritian citizen (see screenshot attached). After i made the payment of €41 in cash for the room including €6 for tourist tax for 2 people, I noticed the room was dirty and not cleaned properly (sand on the floor and rubbish bin hasn't been collected, no toilet paper and no bath towels).

Ubicación cercana a la playa. Habitación cómoda y buena recepción de la dueña.

El desayuno puede mejorar (demasiado simple).
