Esseneto Rooms

I booked the 2 bedroom suite and was clean and updated. My issue was that there was only 1 air conditioning unit in the main bedroom which left the 2nd bedroom quite warm and my kids weren't too happy! Also, the bathroom toliet seat was not screwed in, needless to say it was a little frustrating using the facility. Parking on the street can be difficult, but we were able to park pretty close. Quick drive to the shopping area and restaurants and 10 minutes away to visit the temples. We went at night since they were open until 11pm to avoid the heat during the day. The staff was great, especially Maria in the morning making sure we enjoyed our breakfast! She was such a delight!

Big, stylish, clean, great location

Everything was wonderful. Clean and modernly furnished hotel. Room was with a wonderful view of the surroundings and the sea. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very tasty breakfast. The host is also very kind and responsive, takes care of the guests with great care and courtesy. Gave us great recommendations for sightseeing and places to eat. I strongly recommend!

1. The air-conditioning was facing the bed. It sounds minor, but this design fault really affected our sleep. 2. Shared apartment with separate bedrooms. We expected an own "hotel-like" room. Maybe it was written on the website but it got us by surprise. 3. The breakfast was the poorest that we received during our stay in Sicily.

Clean, bright room, balcony and views to the valley of the temples. During the night you can spot the amazing ‘ Concordia Temple’. Price of the room ok. Small free parking outside.

Bed &pillows not comfy, breakfast only coffee + croissant.

Largish B&B in Agrigento (about 4km from main entrance to Valle di Templi). Rooms are well-appointed (mostly IKEA furniture and bedding) and the balcony was nice (sea view is correct but you are many kms from the sea). Nice shower. Breakfast was pretty limited (warned that I was limited to a single Cornetto when checked in). This place would rate a lot higher except for two reasons: 1) they really want you to check in between 3:30 and 4:30. If this doesn't fit your plans, they make it a pain 2) regardless of what the website says, there is apparently no off-street parking. The rooms are located in a dense residential area and parking was a pain. I initially had to park about .5km away. My search for parking made me slightly late and I was berated by the host for keeping him waiting (I was 15-20m later than I said I would arrive). Once parked, I felt like I couldn't move the car and lose my spot and have to spend more travel time searching for parking. Overall, the host was just rude, as if he was doing me a favor rather than me bring a customer. I wouldn't return or recommend based on my experience.
