"Wonderful stay :)"

One of my greatest stays in Italy. BED IN BO Porta San Mamolo is located in one of typical Bologna appartments in really peacefull area. My room was on the roof, but temperature was fine and was really, really spacious (to be honest it could be for 3 people). Also it was cleaned everyday by nice Italian lady, who always left cookies, teabags and water for me :) Great contact with host. Centre of the city is located 15 minutes on foot. It is worth of recommendation :)

Very helpful host. Instant replies on WhatsApp. The Apartment is in a great location and the area felt very safe.

In the pictures the it looks like there is a balcony/terrace. This is why I booked it. This is not for the apartment we had, only the roof top apartment. We could sit in the shared courtyard downstairs but had no furniture.

"Beautiful city and very comfortable room"

The property is in a small residential building.. close to the main sites and restaurants. The room was very comfortable. Instructions provided to access the building and room were very clear. The owner/manager was very accessible via WhatsApp

The only problem with this property, if you have a car, is parking. The building is in the historic area of the city therefore, parking is extremely restricted. You can’t just park anywhere even if you find an empty spot (even if you pay at the meters) A special permit is required. Private parking lots register you with the city. Public lots don’t, you will get fined. We are expecting a few fines 😔 The only parking area near the hotel was closed until the summer. We had a terrible experience finding parking. Make sure you are very aware of this and make sure you communicate with the manager beforehand to find out what the situation is.
