Minshuku Fukufuji

Wirklich ein ganz toller Aufenthalt. Ein sehr schönes Zimmer, ein privater Onsen und sehr sehr leckeres Essen. Die Gastgeberin war super nett. Uns hat alles gefallen :)

Our hosts' hospitality was unmatched! From the wonderfully presented and delicious dinner, to the full breakfast, to the ultra clean accommodations and bathrooms. We were the only guests and had the onsen to ourselves, which was another fabulous bonus! We felt so welcome every step of the way! Arigatō gozaimashita, Min-chan! <3

My only 2 regrets are that I didn't book another night, and that I hadn't learned more Japanese to communicate more with the hosts!

Na een paar dagen Tokio, met alle gekte was het perfect om tot rust te komen in de B&B van Micchan. Een enorm vriendelijke vrouw, een echte gastvrouw, die keihard werkt om haar gasten van een uitgebreid ontbijt en avondeten te voorzien (deels uit haar moestuin). Zelfs zelfgemaakte sake is aanwezig. Het is ver, dus een auto huren in Kinugawa Onsen bij het station, is wel handig. Anders ben je niet flexibel om naar alle plekken in de omgeving te gaan. Het eten is fantastisch, authentiek Japans. Voor onze twee teenagers soms uitdagend maar goed om te voelen dat je echt aan de andere kant van de wereld bent. Het is ruim, een kleine maar fijne onsen, je bent gewoon even bij een lieve Japanse familie te gast. De omgeving is prachtig dus je voorbereiden op lange wandelingen is ook een aanrader. Let wel op de beren.

Het is echt wel ver van alles. Dat is de charme maar let hier goed op. Als je de bus moet nemen, deze gaat echt alleen maar 2 keer per dag.

It is a very special autentic Japanes experience , very good and special autentic meals , wonderful houstes . You need a car to move around .

Micchan was so lovely and friendly, we had a wonderful time and she took such good care of us. She made such delicious vegetarian food too!

The location is a bit empty but close enough to Nikko to be interesting.

Amazing off the beaten track B&B staying wonderful host Michhan, this beautiful woman has been serving people for 46 years and the experience is well worth the drive. Her cooking is next level yummy and the little onsen downstairs is smoking hot, she also has a little bar. Note the walls and ceiling are plastered with Polaroid photos of her previous guests.
