Hotel Grand Dedal

Hotel looks very good. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is ok Prices for beverages and food are lower than at other places

The rooms are noisy. There are noises coming from the hallway. The doors are spring-loaded and slam shut.

We booked an apartment, we liked it, it was big enough, and very clean, it was also located at the end of the hallway, hence it was very quiet. They have a big parking place, you don't have to worry about finding a parking place. The pool area is very nice.

The staff at the restaurant was absolutely unprepared: they had no idea of the products they have available or not, they were forgetting the order and coming back to ask again what we ordered. The breakfast was really poor, very few options. Same for lunch - we had the possibility to pay extra for lunch, but the quality of food and the variety was very poor.

- the furniture looks new - the staff was cleaning the room every day and changed our towels - the cleaning staff was nice - balcony -fridge in the room - close to the beach

- shower pressure was low. We stayed on the 4th floor but I asked another couple during breakfast and they said they encountered the same situations as us even if they were staying on the 2nd floor. - shower water was colder than warm. I did not have any pleasure in taking a shower. We were taking the shower fast every time because of the water temperature...we expected to have good pressure and hot water in the shower...but we did not have that - breakfast...not exceptional. I am not eating meat and because the breakfast did not offer a good variety, I ended up eating only cheese, tomatoes, olives and bread with butter every morning during our 6 days holiday. I was expecting to have at least some eggplant salad, some humus, some salad a la russe from which you can choose to eat...But none of this. Also, the pastry they offered was not great. We expected at least some warm croissants...but none of this. - the room has tile on the floor, no carpet, only tiles. It makes the room cold and reduces the feeling of comfort you would expect for a 4 Stars hotel. Furthermore, we did not have slippers in the room as expected. Due to the cold floor covered in tiles we had to go to Lidl (which is 10-15 min away by car) and buy slippers. I did not appreciate that.
